Je travaille sur le fichier pour éliminer les trucs étranges dans le film.
À la croisée de l’imaginaire et de la critique sociale, ce conte animé met en scène un jeune garçon confronté aux manigances d’un vendeur sans scrupules. À grands coups de magie et de démonstrations, l’étranger déstabilise le petit qui devra alors choisir entre les attraits des accessoires et le contentement de la simplicité…

Voici donc enfin mon tout dernier film. Ce film représente pour moi un investissement personnel incroyable. La production a débuté en janvier et s'est terminée en début juin, mais le projet date réellement de décembre 2006.
Les Lutins Magiques est le premier volet du projet et devrait être poursuivit par deux autres films dans un futur rapproché.
Inspiré des contes traditionnels québécois, ce premier volet met en vedette la voix et la guitare de Pierre Montplaisir-Rosa, lui-même conteur à ses heures et musicien de talent. Le montage sonore a été réalisé par Manuel Grandmont. Sans eux, ce projet ne serait pas là où il est présentement. J'aimerais aussi remercier Christian Bergeron, qui a traduit le film pour notre auditoire anglophone. Meeting imaginary and social criticism, this animated tale stars a young boy confronting an unprincipled merchant and his little schemes. Using various magical tricks and demonstrations, the stranger will destabilize the little boy, who will have to choose between the appeal of accessories and the satisfaction of simplicity…

Here it is at last! My latest film, The Magical Sprites (Les Lutins Magiques). It was for me a long and exhausting journey, but it was also exciting and rewarding. Production for the project began in january and ended early june, but the projet was really started back in december 2006, under another form. The Magical Sprites is the first of a three chapters project. The next two films should follow this one in the near future if everything goes well.
Inspired by folklore from Québec, this first chapter stars the voice and guitar of Pierre Montplaisir-Rosa, narrator and skilled musician. Sound post-production has been handled by Manuel Grandmont. Without them, there's no way this project would have that quality to it. I would like to give a warm thank you to Christian Bergeron, without whom our non-french-understanding spectators would not be able to watch and appreciate the film to its fullest.

Like everyone else has already said, there's a bit of a problem with the compression, but obviously that's not your fault. ^^
I adored this from beginning to end - I love the characters you created, and how compelling they were. The angles and movements of perspective are really impressive, for example, when the old man is talking to the little boy, you constantly kept the angle in motion, and therefore engaged my interest throughout that scene.
You animate things at such a professional level, and I hope this talent gets you far in life. I'm sure it will. ^___^
